HTC Desire: Today Android Linux was updated to 2.2

Dear Android Linux,

Today was a big day for you, don’t you think? I was informed by an article on the web that this weekend HTC was releasing the 2.2 update for the android platform. Few hours ago I did a search for software updates through my phone…. and the update was available for an over-the-air upgrade.
So… you are now updated to 2.2 and have a new nickname, “Froyo”. You also received plenty of new features :

2 to 3 times improvement in JavaScript.
2 to 5 times better performance of Android on the same hardware!
USB and Wi-Fi Internet Tethering.
Microsoft Exchange integration including auto-discovery and remote wipe
